Dear Mr. Graeme and Mr. Alec Freeman and the Freeman Foundation,
I would like to extend my sincerest thank you to you all for providing me with the opportunity to study abroad. I would also like to thank Rikki Mitsunaga, the Shidler College of Business, the MIX office, and my friends and family for playing a vital role in this journey. Studying abroad has always been a dream of mines, and I am so happy to be embarking on this journey soon. My hobbies include doing calligraphy, working out, cooking, completing DIY projects, watching Youtube, and hanging out with my family and friends. A majority of my time spent at school is divided between attending classes, being involved in my business class, and participating in Love Your Melon events around campus. The only time that I have been in Korea, was for a layover before going to Vietnam. Now I am able to say that I will be living and experiencing the Korean lifestyle soon. Although I am excited to be studying abroad, I am also very nervous that I will be living on my own for the first time, without my family. I want to expand my network and have different perspectives based on the professional connections I create there. I am always interested in meeting new people and forming relationships that will last a lifetime. Mahalo again, to the Freeman Foundation for providing students with the opportunity to experience something new. Take care, Michelle
